"Take care, Sigrid," Shanku nodded back to her as she took flight and set off to find the elusive kurach of the north.
Thus concluded my time with the Highland kurach. While it was irritating, uncomfortable, and downright unpleasant to have been kept like a canary in a cage during the first part of my stay, I learned many valuable lessons from them. Yes, even from Arloda and Doane.
Sigrid polished off my fighting skills and I was finally properly taught how to hunt by a fellow kurach! Sigrid also rekindled my Wanderlust and I owe her much for that.

A New Journey
I nearly forgot there were two endings on the fifth chapters. Oops.

So Shanku is back to normal again. And off to a new adventure! Next stop: North.
Arc Notes:
I'm surprised the art in this volume turned out so well. The baby spent a lot of pages using me as a pull-up post or sitting in my lap watching. Well, watching and trying to grab. Maybe we'll draw together someday.
We had a bit of a rough year. Only moved once, but it was major enough to derail the comic for a few weeks, and for several days here and there. But, despite that and me currently having a stomach bug, we're back on track! I just hope it stays that way.
