A reader responded to 291 with this word which means "the act of throwing someone or something out of a window" (along with point out an embarrassing misspelling) and I got such a kick out of it I had to work it in later somehow. Even if just in the comments since that's likely not a word in Shanku's vocabulary.
I really need to have a hard think on those floorboards. For whatever dumb reason, I keep trying to lay rectangles down in a circle. Ack! I need triangles or a starburst pattern involving nested triangles. Eh, I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself since last time I had stone floors laid out in concentric blocks to work with and this time it's wood.
Just in case any future readers drop by, this single-illustration story mode is hopefully temporary until I can properly play catch-up with the archive.
Comic days are not over for me. I need to do this more than y'all want to read it, and I promise that is not some kind of passive aggressive barb or other nonsense. It's me finally admitting this isn't just a hobby. It's what keeps me somewhat together during the various crap I have to deal with.
