Comparison of Old and New Pencil (prologue)
I'm back to updating the pencil shading on the older chapters. Here is an example from the original attempt at the prologue drawn on July 19, 2011, and touched up on June 22, 2025 to match JAD's current art style.
I'd forgotten that Shanku originally was written to have issues with dire wolves instead of a sabretoothed tiger, but I remember worrying it'd be too redundant on the wolf theme.
