Prologue Attempt No. 1
I'm back to updating the pencil shading on the older chapters. Here is the original attempt at the prologue drawn in July 2011 and touched up in June 2025 to match JAD's current art style.
I'd forgotten that Shanku originally was written to have issues with dire wolves instead of a sabretoothed tiger, but I remember worrying it'd be too redundant on the wolf theme.
Yes, that's Hilael, and, yes, I had forgotten that they are technically two years apart. So, for the official storyline, that's one of Shanku's cousins from Nari's brother, Tahir.
