Why does the Algod let bad things happen if he's all-powerful?

Question

Why does the Algod let bad things happen if he's all-powerful?

Shanku

First off, the Algod isn't a man or woman, nor is it good or evil. Something neither conscious, subconscious, nor unconscious. A force of nature, yet the source of it.

A priest would make a grand speech about free will, lessons, and spiritual growth through trials and suffering. Personally, I don't think it cares about us and we are all in a cut-throat rat-race where only the strongest and most cunning survive.

Besides, nobody likes a busybody that micromanages every last aspect of your life. But people will twist anything when they want a scapegoat.
